The Vaurcae are a species of insect-like aliens hailing from the now-lost planet of Z’aantil. They are naturally eusocial, and once held thousands of hives, although they now have been reduced to three; the Zo'ra, K'lax, and C'thur. The Vaurcae have a history tracing back before any modern species of the Spur evolved, but the majority was lost in the Great Crash of 3895 B.C.E.
